The Developer a.s.r. and Interparking Netherlands have signed a purchase agreement for the sale of IJdock car park in the city center of Amsterdam.

IJdock car park is located under the residential and business complex on the southern banks of the IJ river in Amsterdam and offers 353 public parking spaces. The car park offers a high level equipment, including license plate recognition and LED lights. The car park is established at walking distance from the central station and the city of Amsterdam.

Interparking was already partly operating the car park for a.s.r. Vastgoed Ontwikkeling since January 1, 2014. As seller of the car park, a.s.r. is happy with the sale to Interparking, as this brings the car park in good hands, so that the visitors of the "island city" continue to be well served. Interparking will expand its service offer in the upcoming period, enlarging the number of parking products, such as Day trip parking, Shopping parking and Early Dinner parking through its online booking tool.

In addition to the Markthal car park recently opened in Rotterdam and the recently signed purchase agreement for the Tournooiveld car park in The Hague, this IJdock car park purchase is in line with the Interparking’s strategy for the Netherlands.
