SAN RAFFAELE HOSPITAL (MILAN): INTERPARKING AND GKSD CREATE A JOINT VENTURE FOR PARKING MANAGEMENT
Interparking Italia and GKSD are pleased to announce the beginning of a strong collaboration between the two companies with regards to the parking management of the San Raffaele Hospital (Milan).
Since 6 December, the Venetian Parking Company, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Belgian Holding Interparking S.A./N.V. became a 50% partner of the management Company "Interparking San Raffaele Srl" while the other 50% will be owned by GKSD Parking, part of the San Donato Group.
The newly-formed company will manage all the parking areas inside the complex of the renowned Milanese hospital, as well as two "satellite" areas that will now be integrated to improve the logistics and access to the facilities for both patients and employees. With 1,958 parking spaces spread over three underground floors, this multi-storey car park is the main parking infrastructure within the scope of the new alliance, which are also part of the "Dimer" Area with 146 spaces and the "Amsa" area with close to 40.

Among the primary new developments for users, access automations have already been modernised for a more fluid and comfortable visitor experience.
This collaboration will be the first stage in a series of projects that will support the two entities, not only in terms of parking management, but also in a broader vision, integrating renewable energy production and logistics management in an innovative way.
