The Midi Fair returns to Brussels

Every summer, the Midi Fair marks the start of the holiday season in Brussels. For more than a month, Boulevard du Midi comes alive with thrilling rides, family attractions, games and tasty treats. From 18 July to 23 August 2026, one of Belgium's largest funfairs will welcome visitors once again for its 146th edition. With around 130 attractions between Porte de Hal and Porte d'Anderlecht, it remains one of the capital's most popular summer events.

To make getting there easier, we offer a special €5 parking rate at Porte de Hal-Parvis car park, just a short walk from the fair.

A long-standing Brussels tradition

Created in the late 19th century, the Midi Fair is part of Brussels' heritage. Over the years, it has become one of Europe's best-known funfairs, attracting visitors from across Belgium and beyond. Traditional rides, modern attractions, game stalls, doughnuts, candy apples and cotton candy all contribute to its unique atmosphere.
The fair is also part of a recognised fairground tradition. Belgian and French fairground culture is listed as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, highlighting the know-how that has been passed down through generations of fairground families. Behind every attraction are people whose passion and expertise help make the event a success year after year.
