Interparking supports the renovation of the emergency department at Saint‑Pierre University Hospital
In response to the growing challenges faced by hospital emergency departments, Interparking reaffirms its societal commitment alongside the Saint‑Pierre University Hospital Foundation. As a patron of the Foundation, the Group actively supports two major projects aimed at improving both patient reception and working conditions for healthcare teams.
In a recent piece broadcast by RTL Info, Professor Stefano Malinverni, Head of the Emergency Department at Saint‑Pierre University Hospital, highlighted the daily reality of a service under intense pressure, describing the profession of emergency physician today as a “high‑risk profession.” A powerful testimony that underscores the urgency of adapting hospital infrastructure to current needs.
Supporting the renovation of the emergency department
Through its patronage, Interparking supports the project to redevelop the emergency department, led by the Saint‑Pierre University Hospital Foundation. The objective is clear: to rethink spaces in order to streamline patient flows, improve reception, and provide a more suitable working environment for medical and nursing staff who are on the front line day and night.
This project fully aligns with the Foundation’s mission, which is to support Saint‑Pierre University Hospital in developing human, functional, and sustainable infrastructure, in the service of accessible, high‑quality care for all.
Contributing to a more humane hospital environment
At the same time, Interparking is also supporting the redevelopment of the Saint‑Pierre University Hospital terraces, in collaboration with Renotec. This project aims to transform these outdoor areas into spaces for respite and well‑being, accessible to both patients and caregivers.
In a particularly demanding hospital environment, these spaces play an essential role by offering moments of pause, perspective, and recovery, which are vital to the balance of those who work there or receive care.
