Important – Ghent Festivities (from 17 to 26 July 2026): during this period, the Kouter car park is accessible via both Kortrijksepoortstraat and Vogelmarkt. If you arrive via Vogelmarkt, you can reach the Kouter car park via Koophandelsplein, Schouwburgstraat and Kouter.

Kouter

Kouter car park is located beneath Kouter Square, famous for its Sunday flower market. Its central position places you just steps away from the Flemish Opera and the Handelsbeurs Theater, ideal for cultural visits or a stroll along shopping streets such as Veldstraat.

The car park is open 24/7 and has two entrances on either side of the square for easy access. It features charging stations for electric vehicles and offers various subscription options, including a special Night-charging subscription.

Public transport stops nearby make it simple to reach other districts and attractions in Ghent. On foot, you can quickly access Kapitoel, Minard, the De Krook library, and numerous cafés and restaurants.
